Battle Royale Predictions: Cammy vs. Nina

Introduction
Two of fighting games top class assassins, with their great rivalry, which fem fatal will win, Cammy White of Street Fighter or Nina Williams of Tekken?

Well there's only one way to find out!

Backstory/History: Nina is an assassin who learnt her skills from both of her parents. During the second King of the Iron Fist tournament, she was sent to assassinate Kazuya Mishima, but failed her mission due to conflict with her sister, Anna. Both Nina and Anna were captured by Kazuya’s soldiers and were placed into Cryogenic Sleep as a part of an experiment. 15 years later, Nina was released from her sleep, but suffered amnesia as a result. After the third tournament, she escaped from the hands of the Mishima Zaibatsu and continued taking missions as an assassin without any memories of her past. She was even unaware that she accepted a contract to eliminate her son, Steve Fox.

Sniper Rifle: A gun which can be used to take out targets from afar. It can also fire automatic shots like an assault rifle.

Magnum: A handgun with more firepower than the pistol.

Stun Gun: A gun that is used to give the opponent an electrical shock.

Submachine Gun: A lightweight machine gun with a fast rate of fire.

Suitcase Gun:

Shotgun: A gun that deals massive damage at close range.

Grenade Launcher: A gun that fires explosive rounds.

Rail Gun:

Stun Grenade: A grenade that stuns enemies when it explodes.

Tonfa: A pair of sticks with handles. Used as a melee weapon.

Katana: A japanese blade. More effective as a melee weapon than the tonfa. Alternatively, Nina can also use the Doutanuki, the Ripper and the Manji Sword.

Stun Baton: A baton with an electrical charge that can stun opponents.

Throwing Knives: There are a few small blades that Nina can not only use as melee weapons but ranged weapons as well. They come in the form of standard throwing knives, needle knives and kunai knives.

Poison Ampoule: Small glass vials containing poisonous liquid that Nina can throw at her opponents.

Aikido Master: Nina is a master of aikido, a martial arts that she learned from her mother. It is a fighting style that involves the use of throws, grapples and holds. While fighting, Nina tends to dodge the attack of her foe, grab them while they are vulnerable and proceed to break their limbs.

  • Rage Drive: A technique that powers Nina up, allowing her to attack much more powerfully with a combination of attacks. Much like in Tekken, where each character has Rage, Nina’s Rage can be spent on this state of attack. Regardless of whether it hits or not, her rage is spent once she uses her Rage Drive.

  • Rage Art: A very fatal attack. Nina pushes her enemy back, stunning them. She then climbs on them (weirdly) and brings them to the floor with her legs around the enemy’s neck. She uses her legs to then snap her enemy’s neck. In Tekken, the lower the character’s state of health is when using the Rage Art, the more powerful the attack, so it’s best she uses it for last.

  • Bone Breaking: Nina is able to fracture bones with a hard and precise strike.  It is possible that this involves the use of Koppojutsu.

Stealth Expert: Being an assassin, Nina is skilled in stealth. Since she often deals with armed guards, she tends to sneak around undetected and take them out with stealth attacks, such as neck snaps.

Destroyed a motorcycle helmet when clashing with Anna. With this much more reliable study, we know that motorcycle helmets pads are built with the dimensions of 120mm * 70mm. Reading the provided chart about tensile strength and compressive durability, we do know that every mm² of the pad can withstand 250N. With simple math, the force needed to destroy a motorcycle helmet (at least put it at its very limit) is 1,050,000N (8400 times 250 and divide that by 2 because mm²). Meaning, this kick alone (one of standard force for Nina) can be clocked to 1,050,000N or about 236050 pounds per square inch. (The exact number is 236049.3911 pounds per square inch/psi).

Stamina: Has fought against Anna, her rival, sister, and equal, in a gun battle that quote-on-quote, lasted for “days.” Without any breaks. Even seriously lobbying this up for 3 days means Nina can fight for 72 hours straight without tiring… against her equal no less.

Master of… a lot of weapons: If Tekken has told us anything about Nina, she’s an assassin through and through, trained in swords, guns, sniper rifles, explosions, remote-controlled drones, and many, many more.

Anna: Anna is quite important. Anna is Nina’s sister and was trained under the same arts as she has. Anna shares many feats and abilities with Nina. However, in most of their encounters, Nina has always been on equal level with her. Sometimes Nina saves Anna, sometimes it’s the other way around. Though they hate each other, their feud brings out the best of them. Nina is able to fight skilled and powerful opponents like Anna.

Extra
A playable character in Street Fighter x Tekken. In fact, she was paired with the likes of Chun-Li, Ryu, and Ken as her official rivals. Says a lot about where she stands compared to other females in the Tekken series.

Backstory/History: Formerly a member of Shadaloo’s doll units, Cammy was a mindless slave to  M. Bison and was one of the most deadliest assassins of Shadaloo. (Probably because she was supposed to be a clone of Bison should his body be destroyed but that's too weird to get into detail). It wasn't until she was sent to assassinate Dhalsim that Cammy was given self-awareness by the said Yoga Master she was sent to kill. Now free of Bison’s control, Cammy joins the British Delta Red Special Force to put a stop to Shadaloo once and for all.

Armor


Though Not necessarily armor, Cammy’s Leotard is notable for providing little to no armor at all. The only thing that even counts as protection at all are the bracers on her arms. Other than that there's nothing to protect her behind, both literally and figuratively.
Powers and Abilities

Cammy excels in quick, close range combat and she has some serious kicks. She has been trained in the arts of assassination by Shadaloo and received Special Forces training after joining Delta Red. If that’s not enough Cammy can take her power even further by channeling psycho energy, making her feet light up in a blue flame. Though this rarely ever happens, and only appears when Cammy is pissed.

Cammy’s Move set relies on quick, close range attacks. So she usually lunges at the opponent to kick them or sweep them off their feet before laying down the final blow.

  • Spiral Arrow: Cammy's signature attack. Cammy launches herself forward and spins  like a drill with her feet slamming into the opponent and defying the laws of Physics. She performs a short sliding kick along the ground as they land. Though the legs are the main target for this attack.

  • Spin Drive Smasher: Cammy performs an enhanced Spiral Arrow, and then ends with a Cannon Spike. Cammy can also add in spinning kicks from an upside down position in between, and finish with a simple strong Cannon Spike.

  • Gyro Drive Smasher: Cammy crouches low. She then proceeds to perform a Spiral Arrow and "spin-a-roony" kick, and performs a Cannon Spike. If the Cannon Spike , if it lands, Cammy will then leap into the air, grabbing her opponent by the collar or shoulders; as she reaches the peak of her jump upside-down, she will spin around, then fall, driving her foe into the ground while straddling them. whilst pinned, Cammy will break their neck.

  • CQC (Cammy Quick Combination): Cammy gets into her counter stance. If the opponent strikes her, she counters by flipping onto their shoulders and snapping their neck. She then takes them down and snaps their arm with a reverse arm lock. To top it all off, she spins the opponent around, grabs them by the neck, and brutally twists it. (It's not pretty).

  • Delta Drive: Increase her speed, and many of her moves gain more subtle advantages, including increased recovery speed, Spiral Arrow does 3 to 5 hits and being able to pass through the opponent.

  • Cross Stinger Assault: Cammy leaps backwards into the air and performs a Cannon Strike. If successful, Cammy launches the opponent into the air and strikes them with several aerial kicks, finishing with a multi-hitting Spiral Arrow. In total the move has 20 hits.

“Target acquired… Beginning Mission!” - Cammy (Street Fighter IV)

  • Was one of the many playable characters along with Nina in Street Fighter x Tekken. Weird how she didn’t have a rivalry cutscene with Nina.
  • Teamed up with the G.I. Joe Team in one crossover comic

  • She’s also made other appearances like in Final Fight: Streetwise, Namco x Capcom, and Marvel vs. Capcom Games

Verdicts

Cammy vs Nina, two assassins that could break your neck while wearing spandex. Before I get into the Prediction I just want to say that it's nice to see other Tekken Combatants in a researched fight. Honestly I’m surprised Death Battle hasn’t gotten into Tekken fights but whatever anyway, onto the Prediction:

So as much as I want Cammy to win, since I did more research for her, I’m going to have to go with, Nina Williams. She’s pretty powerful in her own right and have fought people like Lars and Kazuya, who are some of the most powerful people in the Tekken Universe. Not to mention she was good enough to be Jin’s bodyguard so there’s that. They’re pretty even in most stats, well except power,however I Believe the true deciding factor of this match will be endurance. Recall in Tekken 5, she fought her own sister, Anna (who was basically her equal in power) for 3 days straight. Unless Cammy can survive 3 days, she’s doomed.

Also, Cammy’s more of a striker and Nina’s a grappler. Fighting game standards, grapplers beat strikers right?. It’s basically Rock Paper Scissors.

My first Verdict! And it's a short one....yay...

Anyways from my understanding  from both characters Nina is more lethal in terms of combat and is arguably psychically stronger, Cammy on the other hand is allot faster, more experience in fighting and is more agile. Nina would be able to give Cammy problems but due to her speed I feel as if Cammy would be able to dodge most of her attacks plus her being more agile would give unpredictability with her combat.

Overall I'm going with Cammy.

Ahh. Guns and fighting. Isn’t it fun putting two fighting game characters who are trained in martial arts and firearms against each other and seeing who would win in a fiery battle? However, if there’s one other thing these two combatant have in common, it’s that they’re both blonde woman.


But let’s cut to the chase. What I’m here for is to give my thoughts on who would win in a fight between these two bombshells. The way I see it, this is going to come down to a close combat fight. Sure, they both use guns but the two are fast, experienced and skilled enough to not suffer a bullet wound, so where exactly would a gunfight go? I can see the fighting starting off with one, but not ending with one. The climax will come down to the use of good ol’ close combat.


This is where predicting the winner becomes tricky. Both characters are also skilled in close combat, so who would come out on top in the end? Well, after thinking about it for a while, I have decided that I think Nina Williams would this fight.

Now hear me out. This fight is not a stomp in any way. Cammy has what it takes to hold her own against Nina and even has some edges over her. For one, Cammy has more impressive combat speed compared to Nina’s fighting style which is mostly made up of chops and grabs. Cammy is also fairly durable, so Nina is going to have to put a lot of effort into her attacks to wear Cammy out, but here is the reason why I think Nina wins.

Nina is no slouch in the durability department either. She is able to tank hits from Lars, someone who can take down JACK robots with ease. These same robots can shrug off island level beams as if they were nothing! She can also shrug off truck explosions so Cammy is going to have to put in some effort as well but the way things look, Nina would be able to outlast Cammy.
I don’t think she would be able to outlast her for long. You see, Nina is capable of striking pretty hard. She destroyed a motorcycle helmet with a kick, and can completely devastate bones with a single strike. I know one blow wouldn’t break Cammy’s bones at once, seeing as how she can take hits from Balrog, but they will wear her down, eventually allowing Nina to finish her off for good. Here’s another thing, Cammy has almost no armor on her, so it wouldn’t exactly take hundreds of strikes from Nina to start wearing her down.
And yes, I know I said Cammy had faster combat speed, but here’s the thing. Nina is also pretty fast herself, and combined that with her durability and superhuman stamina (I mean come on! Who can fight for three days straight?), she would be able to fight until one of the two tires, and well, you can already guess who I think that person is.
Also, Cammy doesn’t fight at her full potential unless she really hates her opponent (Balrog, Vega ect.) so if there’s something about Nina that makes her hate her a lot, then I can see her lasting a little longer, but again, I don’t think it would be enough. Nina has better DC, Durability and she would be able to wear Cammy down pretty quickly if she attacks the exposed parts of her body.
In my mind, Nina will be the one heading home, successfully completing her mission.

So Cammy Whitegirl VS Nina Willnotiams... 

Overall this doesn't seem too hard to choose for me. 

Honestly Nina has this in the bag. Tekken really tends to be far stronger than SF most of the time, and it's pretty clear to see why when JACK Robots, who are pretty much your fodder, are going around and destroying meteors, surviving island level blasts, and she can beat them... 

Cammy doesn't really have many chances here. Psycho Power is really the only way I see her harming Nina, and even then, she commonly only does it in fits of rage and it's not part of her everyday moveset. (Don't get me wrong. A number of all moves she has used throughout SF are Psycho Power-based, but in canon, she apparently only uses them in fits of rage in character. Given the stat advantage and how few moves she has based on Psycho Power, (and even then they are somewhat of a downgrade from Bison's) that's not happening.)

If I were to choose how this fight would go, I think it would be far more interesting if all stats were equalized. Even then, I'd still give it to Nina. She is far older, (yes, that's due to being inactive for fifteen years, I realize, but even still) she is more experienced, (while it's harder to determine, I would say she's better in stealth, too) and her fighting style would pretty much be Cammy's bane overall. Basically, Cammy goes in for the strike, Nina let's her, breaks her limbs. Ouch.

So basically, you say Nina loses? I say Cammy's white.

After some thorough research on both characters. I have to give the edge to Nina Williams thanks to her overall superior physical stats and skills. Cammy has feats and scalings that places her destructive capacity, durability, and speed at Large Town Level+ and Massively Hypersonic (Mach 400 at the very least). I was impressed, but then I looked into Nina's feats and scaling, and was completely blown away. Because as it turns out, Nina scales to feats like one of the Jack robots busting a meteor and self destruct attacks that reach from Island-Country Level and since she frequently traded and tanked blows from the latter. This wouldn't be an outlier. Then there is the speed category where Nina along with majority of the Tekken cast's speeds scale from Jin, Kazuya, and Heihachi who have displayed Massively Hypersonic+ speed feats range from Mach 3000-5000. And since Nina had consistently kept up with Kazuya and Heihachi this would once again not be an outlier. Now to talk about skill. While there is no denying that Cammy is an extremely proficient and deadly close-range fighter. But so is Nina. Her Koppojutsu martial arts is designed to strike at an opponent's pressure points and break bones to render their body completely useless, allowing the practitioner some time to deliver the killing blow. And because Cammy is often known for her speed and agility, if Nina manages to get a hold of her. She can almost easily handicap her maneuverability and mobility, and there is very little that Cammy can do from there to get out the sticky situation. So at the end of the day. As much as I love my girl, Cammy. I don't see her walking alive out of this one.
